I am thinking about trying this line on an 8wt switch rod. If anybody has any input I would be interested in hearing anything about these lines.  Most of my casts are sustained anchor 2 hand casts and I plan to use this rod only on the small rivers in my area.

Thanx

The Ambush line will rock on your switch rod. They roll cast like gangbusters and do very well with sustained anchor casting. They will turn over the junk if one is into that.

We usually go up 2 line sizes for a switch, ie, for your 8wt I would pick the 10 wt Ambush. These lines are integrated but also come as a head above 8wt. If you want to take a no obligation test drive please let me know.

Thanx for the info and the offer of a loaner!

It is kind of waiting game here as it was-22C here this morning and the Skeena is a little "thick" so probably won't be doing anything for probably a month if we are lucky!

I will contact you if I decide to try a(Ambush) loaner first but I don't want to tie up your resources because I can't get on the river for awhile
