Your invited-
Spey Casting Tournament
Long Beach Casting Club - January 27-28th.

A great, if not the best way, to improve one's casting, meet some great folks (and teachers), share ideas and have a lotta fun while doing it.  Your single spey sucks? Fine, use whatever cast you can chuck the farthest!

So far, there's a promising line-up of competitors, (Some, possibly, from as far away as Norway). [smile]

This is not just for distance Geeks, but Masters, Juniors, Women, and Novice (no prior tournament experience).
If you have any questions, or would like to reserve a spot, please let me know; jansite@verizon.net.
Hope you can make it.

Cheers!

Tommy Arkvisla, Norway, one of the finest casters on the planet, has joined the fray. We are really excited to have him participate in LBCC's first two-handed tournament.
Hopefully, this will encourage other top casters to join in.

Mrs. RedShed and I will be attending this event. We will have some tackle items for sale. Gaelforce Spey lines, Meiser Red Shed Special CX rods. We have demos as well. Tight Lines rod racks, Sharpe's wading staffs, Red Shed T's and hoodies. We are looking forward to seeing everyone.

Tommy Aarkvisla took first.
Mike Ivy took second.
Whitney Gould took third.

There were only amature women competing so Whitney cast with the men.

Long Beach Casting club's first Spey tournament was a big success. A special thanks to the vendors that came a long way to support the event:
  • Poppy & Linda of The Red Shed
  • Mean Gene Oswald - Bruce and Walker USA
  • Lenaya - Damsel (Fishing products for women)

Thanks and congratulations to all competitors.
