I posted this "heads up" on another forum earlier today and apparently it's already aired one season on WildTV I was informed.I hadn't noticed since I don't normally get to watch much TV being on the road a lot.

I got to see the first episode tonight. Beautiful country, beautiful water. Photography was great. They were fishing the Gaspe Peninsula on the York River using a single hander. Nicely done and looking forward to the remaining shows.

It's also on Wild TV. Looks like it's going to be a good series.

Hi I watched the show.

I would think the host of a fly fishing show should at least learn to cast a fly, but maybe it doesn't matter when the main sponsor is an ATV company.

Just saying.

I like the show...the simple style and the ongoing narrative honouring the salmon.  I can recall one tackle talk in an episode in season one, but nothing since...that's okay with me.  As far as the casting goes, I'm with Poppy...the line gets out there and he hooks fish.  The casting styles of the different fly fishing show hosts seem to vary widely, but they are not perfect.  The Freschi brothers, Mark Pendlington, Bill Spicer all show "personal" styles.  Not a bad thing if you are aiming for inclusion.  I can't get over the clear, clear water...jewel-like comes to mind.

Episode two was pretty good.

The water is so clear its hard to believe he is not spooking every fish.
