Nice picture Nick.

On another subject if you ever get a hankering to do one of your fly tying tutorials I would be very pleased. Those were great that you did on the Pages.

Those are all dandy looking reels , I enjoy my reels almost as much as the big tug , crazy as that sounds gents , I like to leave my drag on the lowest settings just so I can use my fingers more for the battle , I like apply the right amount of pressure to feel his head shakes and the best way to feel the power in a fish is in my opinion of putting your fingers on the spool and slowing him down , let's add in the fact of even getting your knuckles whacked good , and of course the sound of a good fish running , this what leaves memories for me

Couple more months and I'll be so looking forward to just one, I'm missing it

While it is not as old or as nice as some of the winches you gentlemen own this 4 1/4 Perfect has a a ton of mojo. It's on my 14 foot 9wt Riverwatch which is a dream to cast.

Troy,

Nice reel, beautiful rod!

The substrate looks familiar, Humble Pie?

I don't own any of the Salmon Perfects yet, but I sure love my post war 3 7/8, narrow drum trout model on my single hand rods.  This one is on JM Reid's 8592 cane single hand prototype that I am field testing this winter:
