We've had some discussion on this forum in the past about ill mannered/uneducated anglers. Yesterday a friend showed me a pamphlet put out recently by the IDFG entitled "Fishing with the Crowd". I will give the IDFG a bunch of points for putting this little pamphlet out. At the least they are being proactive on the subject.

Idaho is way ahead of the game- pertinent pamphlet and based on my first trip to the Clearwater two weeks ago, light years ahead of Cali, Ory-GUN and WA... Cody, an Idaho F&G representative, checked on my buddy and me the first three days of our first trip to the Clearwater- instead of being menacing as the aforementioned states personnel may be, he offered information as to what he knew about current conditions and favorable places to fish- thank you Cody, you behave as I would under similar circumstances, but not many people do- perhaps, in talking to me, you thought to yourself- this guy is alright?  Thank you, Idahoans for showing a WV boy moved to the depths of Hell in CA that people can still be civil and quite nice!

Ten four on Idaho having their act together. One of the first things I noticed when we were there were the road signs in the rural areas. They make no distinction , with cutsie pictures of deer, moose, pedestrian's,  whatever, it's GAME crossing! Almost like bring it on, step on it, kill it. load it in the back & get on with it. ROF
