Preston,

Comparing the 15' 10wt g-force to the 7-9 p-lite...

Lighter in hand, more responsive and smoother.  The more it loads the more it goes.  This g-force is about 1 line up on the B&W for grains and not quite as capable on the bottom end for grains.  Meaning the lines get too light.  Stiff tip, progressive action, lightning quick recovery in a package that physically weighs about 2oz. less.

Okay William, thanks...I think.  The more it's described the more I wish I never asked.  I suppose one can always add it to the wish list.

Preston, Would you like to take a no obligation test drive?

Thanks for the offer Poppy, however I've got a bunch of new-to-me rods I haven't even casted yet this fall and I have 2 reels due fairly soon from Mr. Olson...and with the Canadian peso I need to control myself.

Your test program is fantastic but I know what's going to happen...I'm going to love it and want it!

Cheers,
Preston

I know, I know.  But I can try and convince myself a rod is just a rod...[smile]  That coming from someone with 15+ double hand rods and counting...  [biggrin]

Looking at these rods, just for clarification, are they one-off from the US rods?  Is a Gaelforce 10wt equivalent to a Burkie/Meiser 9?  Anyone want to chime in on these rods since they have now been around for a few years?
