Hi, been at this for ten years now and the single has been the hardest one to master. I can get the line out, I've caught fish but it's not pretty. My loops aren't good and my leader usually flies every which way. I was fishing today and I made one of the best cast ever, everything rolled out is a nice straight line with a half decent loop. I don't think I'm getting my 180 lined up and maybe trying too much of a direction change. Any comments or suggestions? Thanks.

Be sure to do a slooooow lift
Turn at the waist not just the arms
Try to end up so that just before you fire forward the butt of the rod is pointing where you want the cast to go
There's lots more but those should set you on the right track

Paying attention to turn at the waist helped immensely. Much appreciated.
