Going to visit my sis in Pullman this t-day and am wondering where to  do some wand waving on the clearwater.  Went to school out there and fished the ronde and snake and a little on the cw for a few years.  Learned the two hand thing then.  I am expecting to be past prime but was looking for a section of the cw to focus on.  Any suggestions or anyone who wants to meet up?

fish can be found through the entire 70 miles of river at that time. if you are coming from pullman as I do and doing a day trip the lower river is closest. i like to fish my way up to poppys, stop by for a visit, and fish back down in the afternoon...

Thanks for the reply's.  I fished the snake and ronde mostly during my 4yr since the license was cheaper.  I remember that when hunting season started in WA it was the perfect time to be on the ronde.  I stuck with fishing through winter and into the march hatchery time if i remember correctly.  Not allot of action for me in the winter months aside from snagged floating ice.  Will probably drive and be able to camp along the river.

Now that I have no reason to stay at home for Thanksgiving since my wife died I'm thinking of heading to the Clearwater and maybe the Salmon at Riggins.
Does anyone have a first hand current information on the river and weather conditions?
A big storm is moving in from the coast so rain and wind is forecasted. My concern is that mud will be the big issue with all of the fires this past summer.
Any one else spending the end of Oct early Dec in the same vicinity?
