I am so impressed with the Gaelforce lines you recommended for my Burkie 8142-4 and 9145-4 that I now want one of 63' for a Meiser.

This would be for an early Meiser 15', 8-9-10 rod with a marked grain window of 65 to 950+ grains.   (The rod seems to have been discontinued, but it feels like a Highlander)

Also have an EVE from about 7/8 years ago....any advice?

(Many thanks...only sorry that it would be impractical to buy lines from the US at present)

James is in Scotland and has the lines available there.

We've found with the 63' lines that going number for number works quite well. So I'm thinking for the Highland 15' the 63'-8/9 (709grns) would be the choice and the 63'-7/8 (662grns) for the EVE.

Very many thanks ....

This is about what I guessed.   [I met James a few times here in Kelso where we had a very big Fishing show...he was with Carron back then.   Unfortunately it closed down as an annual event as insurance became impossibly high.   So we no longer have an I international open Spey competition nearby.   It had been held in the Junction Pool in the main Tweed!
